Our Red DG is a blend of decomposed granite and brick dust. Our DG is decomposed granite that comes from excavating projects on the side of natural granite mountains. We use a Powerscreen with a 3/8" flat screen to sift out the fines and a magnet to ensure no metal debris. No herbicides, pesticides, or other chemicals are used. It is a natural product that is environmentally safe and does not contain any man-made materials. The Brick Dust comes from crushing of bricks and is screened for a fine consistency. The blend of the two products makes for a decorative landscaping material that can be used for pathways, patios, driveways, and other desert-scapes.
